Monkems.
I've got a full-on healer monk with a necro secondary that goes entirely un-used. I'm nearing my dopple fight and i really don't know how i should go about it. something tells me it's gonna be alot like my 1st few attempts with my mesmer...
Any suggestions?

Like i adviced some frustrated monks at augury rock and like many will advice you here. You probably need to go smiting. Don't hesistate to respecc just for that fight. You'll get enough exp to get back to your old former self in no time.
Oh and one interesting sidenote, your doppelganger doesn't use healing breeze. Makes staying alive a lot easier. Just drop Symbol of Wrath and Balthazar and keep fighting.

after i posted this i had a flash of inspiration. i thought i'd equip scourge sacrifice, awaken the blood, blood renewal, and just in case, banish.
max out smiting and keep blood magic at 0
start with scourge sacrifice and hope he uses awaken the blood followed by blood renewal. that should bring his life down to either 0 or pretty damn close. at which point i can throw out a banish.
whatcha think? would it work?

Possibly, but awaken was improved a lot. You may be better off running other sacrifice skills for him to use. Signet of Agony, Defile Flesh, and Order of Pain are good ones. He shouldn't get too much benefit from them, but the sacrifice side will destroy him.

well he is too stupid to use healing breeze. I dont know why, but he wont cast it. I beat him by just wanding him and tossing in an occaisonal breeze/banish/bane sig

Bring only these skills: reversal of fortune, divine boon, zealots fire. Leave the rest blank. Cast zealots fire on yourself and alternate between spamming boon and fortune on yourself. You don't even need to respec that much. I would leave your favor where its at and put whatever you have in your other healing attributes into smite.

Exactly what I did -- don't forget to wand him to death ftw !! =)
Oh and make sure your armor is up to the job else his bow attacks hit for some nasty damage :'( ( I'd recommend the collector armor and then buying a "proper" set at Draknor's, if you choose to )

I healed myself until he simply ran out of energy, then I killed him in 10 seconds.
It took him FOREVER to run out of energy. The timer went up to 10 minutes, and back down to 0. And about that time I finally got what I had been waiting for!
I should have used prot/heal/smite, Shielding Hands + Healing Breeze + Zealot's Fire + Divine Boon or Orison would have made me invincible...

Wand him and use healing-breeze and you can't lose. That's what I did and got it in the first try! Make sure you can use full damage on that wand though.
